Inverting Normal Cumulative Distribution

Description

We can use the command qnorm to return the inverse of a normal cumulative distribution function evaluated at probability p.

Options

Calculating from the given probability to the upper tail

The standard qnorm function calculates from the lower tail to the given probability q. By setting the lower.tail parameter to FALSE, we can evaluate from the upper tail to the given probability.
